MMA delivered for the first time 10 HIPPS SYSTEM to YPF. This system is made of a type S valve 10.000 psi, a model H hydraulic actuator and a self-contained hydraulic controller type CHA-12A.
It has double high pressure pilot enhancing pressure fluctuations detection and a low pressure pilot detector.
The system is specially designed for fast-closing and by doing so protecting downstream installations from pressure events. The Hipps System has SIL 2 certification.
