The second Solid Block-type 7-1/16" x 7-1/16" 10.000 psi Christmas Tree has been delivered to Petrobras Bolivia for the Itau field. This tree will be installed at the Itau X-2 well.
The tree comprises four manually operated valves, two pneumatically actuated valves and another valve equipped with an hydraulic actuator.
Two Master Flo choke valves (one manual and one with actuator for remote operation) complete the configuration. The Itau field began producing natural gas and oil condensate with the Itau X-1 well. The new X-2 field supplies the hydrocarbon demand for both the Bolivian domestic market and also for export to Argentina. The field is operated by Petrobras in partnership with the French company Total, the British company BG Bolivia and YPFB (Bolivian national oil company). In the early stages of production, 1.5 million cubic meters of gas and 1,060 barrels of oil condensate are planned to be produced daily. The natural gas production for the Itau field is expected
